My closest advisors recommended that I don’t write this one…they were concerned that I might upset people, hurt feelings, or be perceived as crazy. However, I’m not worried about people thinking I’m crazy (some already do) and most people will find this interesting or a call to action before it’s too late.
So here goes…
Obviously, just about everyone is aware of the job situation here in our country and in many developed countries. As part of our work with people’s careers at Clear Medical Agency, we’ve spent some time the last couple weeks doing research into what the future of careers might look like on the other side of this recession. 
I thought I’d share with you a bit of what I’ve found so that you can make your own assumptions (and changes if necessary). Personally, I think it’s confirmed my thoughts that we’re drawing near to the end of the career world that we’ve known for so long.
A new era has dawned…
I believe that two things over the last couple decades are finally catching up to us:
1) The rise of the machines (cheesy, I know)
2) Billions of underemployed people connected through the internet
Think I’m being dramatic? In the following couple postings, I’ve put together a two exhibits of things that I’ve seen during our research. Feel free to disagree, agree, or share other observations you’ve had.
